It's the end of what's been a very quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend for me. Al has been in Montreal so I've had run of the apartment; sleeping in, catching up on long outdated magazines and watching sappy chic-flicks... sometimes a little solo time is like soup for the soul.
It's been a busy weekend so far! With the racing season almost at an end and the summer winding down, we're cherishing time with friends and family in Montreal. I'll be the first to say I don't want the warm weather to end but I must also confess that I am excited for the new season for wearing leather and jackets again! Plus, with all the rain we have coming our way I'll likely need an umbrella on my travels too.

This morning I saw the sunrise! We slept so little last night I wasn't sure if I had slept at all... was I halucinating and seeing a glowing red ball of fire on the horizon instead? The long, hot days of summer are starting to grow shorter, the nights are cooler and it's time for a transition. Soft, supple leather in blush pink is perfect and as you know I love high-low street style, mixing high-end and distressed casual for my outfits. Take my advice and enjoy these last days of summer... let your nights become days every so often, it's worth it!
